Bio

Gudula’s path into alternative medicine started after the passing of her father in 1983. The initial changes were brought on by her mother and the focus was on nutrition and organic foods and learning how to cook with more whole foods in general. In 1988 after she gave birth to her daughter Fenja, Gudula started using homegrown herbs to treat minor ailments with great successes. During her reading and self learning she came upon aromatherapy and healing with precious stones which she used on her self and her family. In 1990 her son Kilian was born. In 1991 Gudula was enticed by a good friend to learn how to milk cows and started to do relief milking for the local dairy farmers. In 1993 Gudula became initiated into the first Reiki level and in 1996 into the second Reiki level.

During the same time period Gudula started to milk cows on the farm of her life partner Cornelius.

In October 2000 she continued her path while taking an introductory course in Homeopathy with the Ottawa School of Homeopathy, and then felt the need to continue pursuing this line of education as it opened up her mind to the possibilities of using harmless and very potent remedies instead of subjecting her family and animals to the common suppressive alternatives which may have dangerous side effects. In-between deciding to study homeopathy more in-depth, Gudula finished a Bach flower course level 1 with the Bach Institute in England.

In Jan 2001 Gudula began her studies with the Hahnemann Center College in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

In July of 2004, she completed both the Practitioner Diploma as well as the Veterinary Diploma in Homeopathy and Heilkunst.

Besides operating a 100 head dairy farm, milking 50 cows with her husband Cornelius and 2 children, Gudula is working with Dairy farmers to improve their treatment successes, teaches introductory Homeopathy first aid and acute prescribing courses for dairy farmers and animal owners, tutors for the Hahnemann Center College, volunteering on the board of the Canadian and International Heilkunst Association and is practicing 3 days per week treating humans and animals alike. The animal practice has its main focus on bovine and equine, though all species are being treated.
