Allyson McQuinn, DMH, MDP, is a Doctor of Medical Heilkunst and the co-owner of Arcanum Wholistic Clinic. She has been exploring Homeopathy and natural medicine since the early 1990s, when her autistic-spectrum baby prompted her to search for a cure. She has published the story of her journey in “The Path To Cure : The Whole Art of Healing“. She is currently developing a comprehensive resource guide for treating infant constipation with natural remedies.
Allyson practices Heilkunst homeopathy in Ottawa, where she has chosen to further her post graduate research with Steven Decker, scholar par excellence of the Novalis Alternative Medical College in Santa Barbara, C.A. Steven teased out the buried truths by re-translating Dr. Samuel Hahnemann’s 6th edition of the Organon, and has discerned that the same core wisdom is similarly illuminated in Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophical Medicine and Dr. Wilhelm Reich’s medical orgone therapy. Based on these more recent studies, Allyson, is writing a 2nd book entitled, “From Rage to Orgastic Potency” for her peers.
Ally lives in resonant partnership with her husband, Jeff Korentayer, also a doctor of Heilkunst medicine on a hobby farm just outside Ottawa, Canada where she tends her horses, sheep, ducks and organic gardens in her spare time. Her two healthy, awesome children, Jordan and Adie, are an infinite source of wonder and joy and remind her how important it is to take time out just to hang out and play.
