What type of continued education does a DMH need and how many hours of it?

A total of 10 hours annually are needed to fill the continued education requirement.

Acceptable continuing education seminars, assignments, etc. are:

  1. Attendance at medical Heilkunst-related conferences, or completion of assignments based on study recordings. For example: Summer School with the Hahnemann College, a course about Rudolph Steiner’s work, etc.
  2. Attendance at CIHA-sponsored Practitioner Meetings, or completion of assessments based on tapings of such sessions
  3. Book reviews, articles and approved research on Heilkunst- related issues

For example

If you attend a seminar and feel strongly about the use of the learned treatment modality in your practice, you could write an article about how it integrates into the principles of Heilkunst and how you would use it in your practice.

Or, another example might be that you have read a book about different cancer treatment modalities their pros and cons, and you could write an article about it, always referring back to where it belongs within the jurisdiction and principles of Heilkunst.

Please e-mail the president directly if you have further questions.
